BLAME IT ON BABY- DABABY
Blame it on Baby is DaBaby’s THIRD album in 13 months. I like DaBaby but this album is bad. It is stacked with the same flow and phrases from his previous albums, “KIRK” and “BABY ON BABY”.
Same flow, subpar bars (“B* you know I turn piss into lemonade, turn s into sugar that’s cholocate pudding” LOL). No creativity, no nothing.
Standout track(s)– Find my way, Rockstar (ft. Roddy Ricch).
CHROMATICA- LADY GAGA
Underwhelming. The album sounds “dated”, a little too “2010”. It sounds like it was released at the wrong time. It’s repetitive; the songs sound the same, the lyrics aren’t bad but they could’ve been better. This would’ve been better as an EP, or if she worked with more, or better producers.
Standout track(s)– Alice, Enigma, Sour candy, Rain on me.
LIL BOAT 3- LIL YACHTY
Disappointing. Every song is monotonous. Lil Yachty’s obnoxious use of auto-tune is become really tired. I’d suggest downloading the two good songs and forgetting the rest of the album ever happened.
Standout track(s)– Oprah’s Bank Account, Split/ Whole Time.
SLIME&B- CHRIS BROWN AND YOUNG THUG
This mixtape= garbage clanking cacophonous symphony. Slime & B is a collaborative commercial mixtape by Chris Brown and Young Thug. Young Thug is literally at the height of his success, why work with Chris Brown? The two of them don’t share any meaningful connection.
You don’t even need to listen to this, I already did that for you.
Thugger says he recorded his verses in a single day and it sounds like it.
